You’ll pick up the basics of windsurfing in a flash thanks to our specialist instructors, and all our kit is perfect for beginners to hone their skills and build their confidence on the water. What’s more, Swanpool is the perfect place to learn as we (usually!) have nice flat water for fine-tuning your manoeuvres.
Please note that our windsurfing gear is designed for beginners and our lessons are geared towards newcomers to the sport. Please get in touch if you are interested in more advanced tuition and we will advise you accordingly.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the age limit?
Windsurfing lessons can be enjoyed by anyone aged eight and over.
What should we bring?
Please bring swimming gear, a towel and suncream, plus closed-toe footwear that is suitable for use in the water (either wetsuit boots, water shoes or old trainers – no Crocs please).
What level of equipment do you have?
We have beginner rigs. Please get in touch for more details.
Where will I windsurf?
Lessons take place within Swanpool Bay, remaining in sight of the beach, which allows our team to maintain safety-boat cover.
