Learn to kayak or improve your skills while exploring the Helford Passage, one of Cornwall’s most stunning areas of natural beauty.

With its secret beaches and wooded coves, the Helford is best appreciated from the water and, by using only paddle-power, has minimal impact on the natural environment. You’ll be able to see wildlife up-close – we often encounter seals, egrets, nesting kingfishers and jumping sea bass – and above all you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity that comes when you immerse yourself in nature.

You can hire a kayak and go at your own pace or join one of our guided tours with a fully qualified British Canoe Union instructor. We use sit-on-top kayaks (so there are no entrapment issues) and our guided tours are tailor-made to suit your individual group, whether you are absolute beginners or advanced paddlers.

Added to that, we’ll give you lots of hints and tips along the way to help improve your technique as well as deepen your understanding of the natural environment.
